History Of Mashru

Mashru fabric is special made for Islamic people. The Mashru fabric was introduced by Mughal Empire in the 16th century. The aim of development of Mashru fabric was, because in their religion they could not wear silk so they had to decide to made it. Mahrsu fabric upper part is silk and bottom part is cotton. So do to this the cotton is touched to body and silk is not touched to body. You can wear Mashru material in any season. During winter season silk protected you by cold and in summer season cotton is useful for sweat. In Arab and Iraq country people are wearing Mashru fabric more. Mahsru is more famous for its signing. This mahsru is only weaving in Gujarat Patan and two community people work together for making this Mahsru, the two communities are Khatri and Muslim.
