[ Khajuri Mashru ]
Mashru fabric is the combination of silk and cotton. The word Mashru Means ‘Permitted’ in Arabic it’s the great meaning because of Muslim people could not wear silk and Mashru is combination of silk and cotton, so the they permitted to wear Mashru because its upper part silk and bottom part is cotton due to this silk is not touched to body so you can permitted to wore Mashru.  In Sanskrit ‘Misru’ meaning is ‘Mixing’.Mixing means mixing of cotton and silk. Mashru has a different types of pattern Khajuri Mashru, Kataria Mashru, Mamul etc. Mahru is used in kurta, stole, Dress Material.
